Defamation case filed against Arvind Kejriwal









New Delhi, Leading News Service: A defamation petition has been filed against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday.. Delhi BJP leader Praveen Shankar Kapur has filed this petition against Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Minister Atishi. The petition was filed after the Aam Aadmi Party leaders accused Aam Aadmi Party leaders of luring crores of rupees to join the BJP.

A defamation petition was filed against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leader, Minister Atishi in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Minister Atishi had alleged that Aam Aadmi Party leaders were lured by the BJP with crores of rupees to join the party. In this petition against the allegations, Praveen Shankar Kapur has claimed that “the allegations leveled by the Aam Aadmi Party are baseless, there is no evidence for the allegations made by them.”

The defamation petition against Arvind Kejriwal will be heard on May 4 in Delhi's Rouse Avenue court. The case was listed by the court's Chief Magistrate Tanya Bamniyal.
