America eyes Israel; The leader said, “Our soldiers…”

Pudaari Online Desk: The United States, which has provided billions of dollars in aid to the Israel-Hamas conflict, is now preparing to impose sanctions on an Israeli military battalion. The sanctions are likely to be imposed in response to human rights violations committed by the battalion against Palestinians. But this action has been condemned by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
US likely to ban Netza Yehuda Battalion
The US Congress has approved $13 billion in new military aid for Israel. So now the US is preparing to impose sanctions on Israeli military battalions. These sanctions may be imposed for human rights violations committed by the battalion against the Palestinian people. The Israeli army is accused of serious human rights violations in the West Bank of Palestine. In that case, the US may now announce a ban on the Netza Yehuda Battalion for targeting its citizens. If this happens, it will be the first action by the Gyo Badayan administration against an Israeli military unit.
Motives to ban battalions 'foolish': PM Netanyahu
Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu has been greatly incensed by this possible US move. Speaking in this regard on Saturday night, he said, 'Sanctions should not be imposed on the Israeli Defense Forces. Our soldiers are fighting terrorists. The intention to impose sanctions on the Netza Yehuda battalion is absurd. The Israeli government under my leadership will act against these measures in every possible way. Earlier, the US has imposed sanctions on Israel in many ways. Netanyahu has said that many questions have arisen due to the actions taken against Israel.
Restrictions on our soldiers are a sign of danger
Israeli ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich also strongly criticized the US decision. “The imposition of sanctions on our military is a danger sign,” Gweer said. “This step is extremely serious and Netza Yehuda members must be protected.”
Israeli ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich also urged Defense Minister Yoav Galant not to bow to American orders. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich took a strong stance against the US plan to impose sanctions on Netza Yehuda in a statement on social media platform X.
