Leader Online Desk : Two Naxalites were killed in an encounter in Naxal-infested Pedia forest in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. According to the information received from the sources of the police department, a major action has been taken against the Naxalites in the border areas of Bijapur and Dantewada. Meanwhile, two jawans of Bastar Fighters have been injured in an explosion while on an anti-Naxal mission. After first aid, the injured jawans were sent by helicopter to Raipur for better treatment.
DRG, Bastar Fighters and Cobra personnel are involved in the encounter in the Naxal-infested Pedia forest. Bijapur SP Dr Jitendra Yadav said that an encounter is going on between soldiers and Naxalites in Pedia forest.
