The demise of Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has brought his family closer. The bond between his wife Neetu Kapoor, children Ranbir and Riddhima has become even stronger. After the demise of Rishi Kapoor, his younger brother Rajiv Kapoor also passed away in 2021.
In an interview with UK RJ Anushka Arora, Riddhima said that Rishi's death brought the family closer, even the distant relatives. Riddhima said, 'The last three years have been very difficult for the family but this is what has brought us closer to each other. We all have started taking care of each other more. This incident has brought our family very close.
The demise of many people has brought us closer. We call each other every other day, we are on FaceTime. We don't need to meet every day but we stay in touch.
Rishi Kapoor died of leukemia in 2020. Riddhima was in New Delhi when her father passed away. In an interview, she told that Rishi had tried to call her two days before he was admitted to the hospital. But that call was missed.
Riddhima said, 'He tried to call me two days ago. That missed call is still on my phone. That was his last call and I regret that I did not take that call. After that he could not answer.'
Riddhima Kapoor is making her OTT debut with the third season of Netflix's 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives'.
