Sonakshi Sinha is going to marry actor Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. Meanwhile, an old interview of Shatrughan Sinha has surfaced, in which he had said that he wants a second son as a son-in-law. Shatrughan said that after marriage, he will keep Sonakshi's husband with him.
Ever since the news of Sonakshi's marriage came out, there was a discussion that Sonakshi's father Shatrughan Sinha and other family members are not happy with this marriage. Now Shatrughan has put an end to all these rumours.
Last Thursday, Shatrughan was spotted with his would-be son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal. Both of them posed together for the paparazzi. Sonakshi's mother Poonam Sinha was also seen during this time.
In an interview in 2011, Simi Garewal had asked Shatrughan what kind of son-in-law he wanted. To this, the veteran actor had replied- One day Sonakshi will get married and go to her in-laws' house. Yes, if we get a chance, we will not bring a son as a son-in-law but a son who will stay with us.
He then gave a message to Sonakshi saying- Sonakshi, I love you very much. We are always with you. I am the best father for you.
Sonakshi's mother Poonam was also present in this interview. She had this to say on Sonakshi's marriage- I always say that Sonakshi should have a husband who loves her the most.
Sonakshi is very emotional
During the conversation, Shatrughan had told that Sonakshi is very emotional. Even if Shatrughan gets a cut while shaving, she starts crying.
Sonakshi and Zaheer will get engaged today
Sonakshi Sinha is going to marry actor Zaheer Iqbal on 23 June. Both will first have a registered marriage. Then on the same day in the evening, there will be a reception party at Bastian Restaurant in Dadar, Mumbai. The couple is going to get engaged today, i.e. 22 June.
