When I told this to my husband, he became very angry. There was no normal conversation between us for a year.

Priyanka was unaware about going to boarding school He further said- Well she went to boarding school, but she did not know that she was going to boarding school. She felt that she was now going to a big school. We took him to the hostel. Matron came and said – All parents, it is time for you to leave. Then Priyanka said- Why are you going? Shall I also come with you?

I said- No son, this is your new school. This is your new bed, new friends. Mom will come to meet you.

Priyanka was not mentally prepared for these things. Even today I cry and regret thinking about it. It was very difficult for me.

Madhu Chopra told- Every Saturday, after finishing my work, I used to catch the train and go to meet him every Saturday. It was becoming very difficult for her as she was not able to adjust to her boarding school. She used to wait for my arrival on Saturday and then I used to stay with her on Sunday. And the teacher kept saying the same thing throughout the week – stop coming. You can't come.

It was a decision full of regrets, but Priyanka turned out to be fine. She stood on her feet.
