MP became, got into trouble! Extortion case against Pappu Yadav

Leader Online Desk: Purnia's newly elected MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav is likely to run into trouble. A case has been registered against him in Mufsil police station for demanding extortion of 1 crore. Amit Yadav is also named in the FIR and is said to be a close associate of the MP.

The owner is alleged to have demanded extortion in 2021 and 2023. For the first time on April 2, 2021, the sitting MP himself demanded a ransom of ten lakhs from him. Similarly, during Durga Puja in 2023, Rs 15 lakh and two sofa sets were demanded on mobile and WhatsApp calls. He said in the complaint that abuse and threats were also given at this time.

During the Lok Sabha elections, on April 6, 2024, Amit Yadav, a close friend of MP Pappu Yadav and a resident of Madhepura, reached the MP's office and residence by making about 10 to 15 calls on his mobile and demanded an extortion of Rs 25 lakh. Here on 4th June call the furniture professional from mobile number 9990002432 and want to live in Purnia for five years. It was threatened that one crore will have to be paid.
