During the Lok Sabha elections, on April 6, 2024, Amit Yadav, a close friend of MP Pappu Yadav and a resident of Madhepura, reached the MP's office and residence by making about 10 to 15 calls on his mobile and demanded an extortion of Rs 25 lakh. Here on 4th June call the furniture professional from mobile number 9990002432 and want to live in Purnia for five years. It was threatened that one crore will have to be paid.
