A professor of Cornell College in America is on a visit to China. He was attacked with a knife while visiting a university in Iowa. Iowa lawmaker Ramarianette Miller-Meeks wrote on Twitter, “We are aware of this matter. Those injured in the stabbing are being treated. Information about the incident will be given only after this.”
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds wrote on Twitter that he is in contact with the US State Department regarding this horrific attack. Jane Visser, spokesperson for the college, told CNN that the knife was used. The incident took place in Jilin city.
