The use of social media and video streaming platforms was disrupted in many countries including India today (5th) evening. After this disruption, meta users started reporting server down on Xver accounts. In these complaints, users say that the feed on Instagram owned by Meta is not loading, nothing can be done about it. Users still have no idea what caused the disruption. But around 11 am these sites were restored.

Facebook Down: According to Downdetector, users on Facebook and Instagram faced these issues around 8.30 PM IST. DownDetector reported that nearly 77% of app users faced issues. While 21 percent of web users reported a decline.
Instagram Down
Instagram Down : Downdetector said about Instagram that 72% of the app's users faced this issue. And 20 percent of users were having trouble logging in.
