The Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has released several updates related to the team. The board has also given information about Mohammad Shami.

KL Rahul's performance in the fifth Test at Dharamsala depended on his fitness. But at present he is not well and has gone to London for treatment. The BCCI medical team is keeping an eye on him. Therefore, the BCCI has clarified that he will not play in the last Test match to be held in Dharamsala. KL Rahul played the first Test match of the series. After this, he missed the next three Tests due to a quadriceps (leg) injury. (INDvsENG 5th Test)

He can join the Test team after playing the Ranji Trophy semi-final. This will happen only if the team needs it. (INDvsENG 5th Test)
