Netanyahu said, “Israel will not agree to the demands of Hamas. We are not ready to accept such a situation under any condition. Hamas battalions will emerge from their bunkers, retaking Gaza. They will rebuild their military infrastructure. We will continue to fight until all objectives are achieved.”
Hamas demands a comprehensive ceasefire
Netanyahu has decided not to send a delegation to the talks. Meanwhile, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said on Friday (May 4) that we are keen to reach a comprehensive ceasefire. Israel must guarantee its withdrawal from Gaza. Only then will we release the hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.”
