BJP National President J. P. Gambhir has requested Nadda to release him from political duties.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Gautam Gambhir won from East Delhi constituency. He went to the Lok Sabha after winning with a huge margin of 390,000. He defeated AAP's Atishi and Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely. Gambhir had entered the election fray for the first time and won. Gambhir bid farewell to international cricket in 2018. This player, who is known as an aggressor on the cricket field, also made a strong debut in politics. Now even the political experts are a little surprised by this sudden decision of Gambhir.

In a tweet from his official account, Gambhir requested BJP president Nadda to release him from political duties. “I am party president J. P. I have requested JP Nadda to release me from my political duties so that I can concentrate on my upcoming cricketing commitments. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for giving me the opportunity to serve the people,” Gambhir tweeted on X.
