Leaders Online: 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Azam Cheema (age 70) has died in Pakistan. Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) intelligence chief Azam Cheema died of a heart attack in Faisalabad. Several Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists have been mysteriously killed in recent months. Pakistan has accused Indian agencies of being behind the killing of several LeT activists. But India has rejected this allegation.
Cheema was the mastermind behind the 26/11 terror attacks and several other terrorist attacks in India, including the July 2006 Mumbai train bombings.
