'Trinamool' is another name for atrocity, betrayal: PM Modi's scathing criticism | leader

Leader Online Desk : Trinamool Congress is another name for tyranny and betrayal in West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Mamata Banerjee government. He was speaking at the inauguration program of development projects worth Rs 15 thousand crores in West Bengal today (March 2).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of development projects in Krishnanagar in Nadia district. In the meeting held on this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that the central government is trying to make the state of West Bengal independent and developed. With the same vision, infrastructure projects are being started in the state. Today I have the privilege of inaugurating and laying foundation stones for development works worth Rs.15,000. Better electricity, road and rail facilities will make your life easier. He also said that these development works will boost the economic development of West Bengal.

Crime and corruption increased in the state under Trinamool rule.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, West Bengal has a part of its glorious history, but the historical front which Bengal had, was not carried forward properly after independence. Despite the opportunities, West Bengal remained behind. In the last 10 years, we have put a lot of emphasis on the railway infrastructure here to bridge this gap. Crime and corruption have increased under TMC rule in Bengal. The way the Trinamool Congress is running the state government has left Bengal disappointed. The people of West Bengal gave a huge mandate to the Trinamool Congress with high expectations; But this tyranny and betrayal of Trinamool Congress has become another name of Trinamool Congress. Prime Minister Modi also said that the priority of Trinamool Congress is not development of Bengal but corruption and nepotism.
