Recently, actor Zayed Khan talked about his career downfall. He said that multi-starrer films harmed his career.

In an interview with Zoom, Zayed said, “I took my stardom lightly and did not listen to those who advised me to work in single-hero films. When you are in the market, you have to prove that you can carry a film on your shoulders.”

The actor further said, 'When many actors are together, the films are made to justify the budget. Maybe I stepped into big budget films too soon. I should have built my brand first. I regret this. Some films did not become hits. Who would not sign a film like 'Blue'?'

Let us tell you, Zayed Khan made his Bollywood debut with the film 'Chura Liya Hai Tumne'. Esha Deol was with him in the film. But he got real recognition from Farah Khan's film 'Main Hoon Na', in which Shahrukh Khan was in the lead role.

After the success of 'Main Hoon Na', Zayed worked in many multi-starrer films like 'Blue', 'Fight Club', 'Dus'. But these films could not boost his career.

Zayed admitted that his father and actor Sanjay Khan did not agree with his film choices. He said, 'He was very angry with me. We used to argue about this many times.' The actor said that he distanced himself from films because he was getting 'supporting roles', which he did not want to do.

Zayed Khan's last film was 'Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene'. It was released in 2015. He played the lead role in this film. But this film also flopped.
