UIDAI has posted on Facebook and Twitter that in view of the huge increase in Aadhaar updates in the last few months, we have also extended the free Aadhaar update date. Now Aadhaar can be updated free of charge for the next three months until June 14, 2024.

Aadhaar Card Update : 'These' documents required
You will need two important documents for Aadhaar update. First identity card and second valid address as proof. . An Aadhaar Kendra usually charges Rs 50 for Aadhaar update, but according to UIDAI, the service is free till December 14. You can provide voter card as proof of identity.
Update Aadhaar Card from the comfort of your home
First go to UIDAI website from mobile, PC or laptop. After that click on Update Aadhaar option. Login through OTP by entering Aadhaar number here. After that click on document update and verify. Now upload the scanned copy of ID card and address proof from the drop list below. After that click on submit. You will get a request number and the form will be submitted. You can also check the update status from the request number. After few days your aadhaar will be updated.
