Some time ago, Oscar winner singer and composer AR Rahman had announced divorce from wife Saira Banu. After some time, AR Rahman's guitar artist Mohini Dey also announced divorce, due to which Mohini was called the reason for the singer's divorce on social media. Amidst the continuous trolling, Saira Banu has now come out in support of the singer. He has said that AR Rahman has no relation with anyone and allegations should not be leveled against him.
Saira told the reason for leaving Chennai
Recently, Saira Banu has released an audio statement saying that she has been ill for the last few months and is undergoing treatment in Mumbai. In the statement she said, this is why I wanted to take a break from AR. But I request the entire YouTube, YouTubers and Tamil media to please, please do not say anything bad about him. He is a gem. He is the best person in the world.
He further said, yes, there were some health issues, due to which I had to leave Chennai. Because I knew that if I was not in Chennai then you all would be wondering where Saira is. I came here to Bombay. I am getting my treatment done. AR has a very busy schedule in Chennai, so I didn't want to disturb him or the kids. But he is a wonderful person. He has no relation with anyone. I have faith in him all my life. I have loved him so much and he has loved me so much. So stop making baseless allegations against them.
Lastly Saira has said, God bless and my sincere prayer is that we are left alone and given space. Nothing has been officially announced at this time. I will come back to Chennai soon. But I have to complete my treatment and come again. Ok, so please stop spoiling his name which is absolute rubbish and as I said he is a wonderful human being, thank you.
Divorce was announced on 20th November
