A cab driver called the Mumbai Police control room and said that he had found a suspicious suitcase in Malad. That suitcase belongs to the same person who had booked his cab some time ago. That boy is not around, only the suitcase is there.
The police control room gave this information to the nearby Bangur Nagar police station, whose SHO Vijay Vane immediately reached the spot. The cab driver had already gathered a crowd near the suitcase found there. As soon as the police team opened the suitcase, everyone was shocked to see the scene. There was a dead body of a young girl in that suitcase. There was blood all over the suitcase. The body had become cold, but the blood was fresh. There was also a rope in the suitcase, perhaps strangulation was done with it.
Investigation revealed that the dead body was that of Mumbai-based model Mansi Dixit, who had appeared in many TV shows including Crime Patrol.

A young boy was sitting in the car with a heavy suitcase.
The police immediately sent the body for postmortem and took into their custody the suitcase and rope found with the body. The police called the cab driver, who had informed about finding the dead body, to the police station for questioning. When the cab driver started narrating the story, it did not take much time for the police to solve the mystery of the murder.
The cab driver told that on the afternoon of October 15, he had received an online booking to go to Santa Cruz Airport from Millat Nagar in Andheri area. He was near that area so accepted the booking. Within a few minutes, when he reached the pickup location, he saw that a boy of about 19-20 years of age was waiting for him with a big suitcase. He asked the driver to open the trunk of the car and started struggling to keep his heavy suitcase in it. After some time, he kept the suitcase and sat in the car and the cab started towards Santa Cruz Airport.
Mansi was a resident of Kota, who came to Mumbai in the year 2018.
The car had covered only a short distance when the boy asked the driver to drop him at Jogeshwari instead of the airport.
The driver changed the direction of the car without thinking. The cab driver told that he found the boy strange. He was nervous and spoke hesitantly.
As soon as he reached Jogeshwari area, he was repeatedly looking out the window at the roads and the surrounding area, as if he was searching for something. After roaming here and there in Jogeshwari for some time, the boy again asked the driver to take him to Goregaon. The cab driver had just reached Goregaon with him when the boy again asked to go to Malad.
This time the cab driver got a little irritated, but if he had taken the booking then he would have had to drop him, on the other hand he was satisfied that his fare was increasing.
The boy stopped the car in a deserted area
Even while coming to Malad, the boy kept looking at the roadside again and again. The boy stopped the car as soon as he reached Malad's mindspace. The driver found it a bit strange to get down midway, because there was nothing around, only empty roads and bushes.
While making the payment, the boy himself started giving clarification after landing in a deserted area. He said that he would wait here for some time for his friend, who would be arriving in some time. Then they will go to the airport.
The boy asked the driver to open the trunk. The boy kept trying for a long time, but the heavy bag did not come down from him. He called the driver for help. When the driver took the bag off, it was heavier than required. Even then the driver did not pay much attention and walked away from there.

He had walked only 2-3 kilometers when strange questions started arising in his mind as to why the boy landed alone in a deserted area. He could have landed anywhere after circling half the city, but why at that place? On becoming suspicious, the driver immediately turned the car around. To know the answers to the questions running in his mind, he reached the same location where he had dropped the boy. When I looked, the boy was not there. When I turned my eyes, I saw that the suitcase was lying in the bushes at the same place.
After sensing a suspicious situation, he immediately called the police and gathered a crowd of people passing by.

The police now wanted to reach the murderer as soon as possible. With the help of Ola app, the cab driver took the police to the same place from where he had picked up the boy. When the police raided the house in Andheri, the boy was found cleaning the floor of the house. There were blood stains on the floor and the house was in disarray. The police immediately took the boy into custody and sealed the house.
Within just 4 hours of finding the dead body, the boy was in police custody. He revealed his name as Muzammil Ibrahim Saeed, who was only 19 years old. Muzammil told that the girl whose body was found was that of a popular model and actress Mansi Dixit, whom he had murdered.
The killer Muzammil was only 19 years old.
Even before the police could contact the family of model Mansi Dixit, the news of her horrific murder spread on TV channels and social media. Within a few hours, this news also reached the family of Mansi Dixit living in Kota, whose daughter had gone to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams.
Mansi Dixit's father Rishi Dixit was a railway employee, after whose death Mansi's elder sister Diksha got a railway job in compassionate appointment.
Since childhood, Mansi used to dream of becoming a heroine. Mother was a beautician, who used to train Mansi since childhood to fulfill her dream. In the year 2015, Mansi participated in Miss Kota Beauty Pageant and won. Due to this victory, she started getting many modeling patronages in Kota. After this, she came to Mumbai with the help of some experts.
Here she also got a job in AK Towers Finance in 2018 and at the same time she also started modeling. Mansi started getting small roles in many TV shows including Crime Patrol, due to which the family was very happy. Mansi lived in a rented room in Shastri Nagar, Mumbai.
Why was Mansi Dixit murdered?
Now the question was why model Mansi Dixit was murdered? How did a 19 year old young boy commit such a serious crime? The answer was found in Muzammil's Iqbal-e-Zurm, which was full of haste, illegitimate demands, anger and conspiracy.
Muzammil told in his statement to the police that he belonged to a rich family of Hyderabad. Father Sirajuhsan Saeed came to Mumbai and settled in Mumbai after retirement from the Merchant Navy. He had bought a flat in Jogeshwari. When Muzammil was in 5th class, his father sent him to his maternal grandparents living in Hyderabad for studies. During holidays, Muzammil used to come to Mumbai to visit his parents.

Muzammil liked Mansi at first sight on social media
While living in Hyderabad, one day Muzammil noticed Mansi Dixit's profile on a social media platform. He liked Mansi so much at first sight that he immediately sent her a friend request. After a few days, Mansi accepted his request and then a series of chatting took place.
Mansi loved the film world, she often used to have long talks with people. Muzammil also used to talk to him related to films and modeling. He had said that he is a successful actor and has many links in Mumbai. With time their friendship started deepening.
Once Muzammil came to Mumbai to meet Mansi on the pretext of meeting his mother. He met Mansi with one of his friends. After meeting for a few hours, their friendship became stronger. The meetings between the two also started increasing. During their meetings in cafes and restaurants, both used to have long conversations on modeling and films.
Mansi considered Muzammil as a friend, but he had started liking her. His intentions started changing. On October 15, Muzammil's mother had gone to meet a relative. He was alone at home, so he wanted to take advantage of the opportunity. He called Mansi and said that he wanted to prepare a portfolio for her, so she should come to his house. Unfortunately, Mansi reached his house without thinking anything.
Mansi became alert after knowing the intention, tried to run away from home
For a long time, he kept talking to Mansi here and there without doing the photoshoot. When Mansi started questioning him continuously, he gathered courage and told his intention. He said that he wants to have physical relations with Mansi. Mansi was shocked to hear this. When she clearly denied this, he started doing obscene acts with her and touching her.
As soon as Mansi realized Muzammil's intentions, she started defending herself. Mansi rebuked him and started running away from the flat. As soon as she moved towards the door, Muzammil hit her on the head with a wooden table kept nearby.
Tried to rape while unconscious, killed when regained consciousness
Mansi immediately became unconscious due to head injury. Even then the cruelty of Muzammil did not diminish. He tried to rape Mansi while she was unconscious, but he regained consciousness before that. Mansi was making noise, which scared Muzammil. He strangled Mansi with a shoelace lying nearby. After suffering for some time, Mansi died.

Muzammil got scared. His mother was going to return home in some time. To dispose of the body, Muzammil packed it in a big suitcase kept in the house. He thought that he would return after disposing of the dead body in some deserted area. He booked a cab by which he went to Malad. He threw the body in the bushes and returned home in an auto. There was Mansi's blood on the floor of his house, which he was cleaning when the police arrived. Muzammil is currently lodged in Thane jail.
