BJP leader and Sudarshan News Correspondent Ashutosh Srivastava was shot dead by unidentified bikers on Monday morning in Sabharhad market of Kotwali area of ​​Jaunpur district (UP Crime). The journalist, who was injured by the bullet, died during treatment. As soon as the news of the death was heard, the family was shocked. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and started the investigation.

Ashutosh Srivastava (45) who lives in village Sabarhad (District Jaunpur) in Uttar Pradesh is a BJP activist. Today (13th) morning, he left for campaigning on a bike. This time at nine in the morning, an unknown biker stopped the bike. After this, an unknown person shot 4 bullets at him and fled from there. People gathered at the spot as the people nearby heard the sound of gunshots. He was then taken to Shahaganj Public (UP Crime) Health Center for treatment. But doctors declared him dead there.
After this incident Shahaganj MLA Ramesh Singh and other BJP leaders reached there. An atmosphere of tension has been created in the area after the incident. In this regard, police officer Ajit Singh Chauhan is investigating the matter. Based on the complaint, a case of murder has been registered against the person who fired the shots.
