Kasba Bawda: Leading News Service: Every year on 1st April, the Stamp Department of the Government fixes the new annual market value rate and implements it. It was expected that there would be some changes in the annual market value rate this year. However, there has been no change in the annual market value rate in the financial year 2024-25. The market rates for the year 2023-24 have been maintained further.
The Chief Comptroller Revenue Authority and the Inspector General of Registration and the Controller of Stamps (Maharashtra State, Pune) prepare the financial annual market price tables. Under the proviso to sub-rule (9) of rule 4 of the Maharashtra Stamps (Determination of Fair Market Value of Property) Rules, 1995, the annual rate return for the year 2023-24 to the Deputy Secretary may be continued for the year 2024-25 without any change, Deputy Secretary Satyanarayan Bajaj has informed through a letter that there is a government directive to inform this.
The same annual market value rates will be maintained for the years 2022-23, 2023-24 and now from April 1, 2024-25. There has been no change in the three-year annual market value rate.
