TV actress Ashi Singh has recently bought her new house in Mumbai. At the age of just 26, this is not the first but the second house of the actress in Mumbai. Before buying their own house, Aashi and her family members lived in a rented house for many years. According to the actress, she had to face many problems during this period.
Lived in a rented house in Mira Road
During a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Ashi Singh said, 'A few years ago, my family and I lived in Mira Road area of Mumbai. It was a rented house. The people of the society where we lived troubled us a lot. Many times the society members even misbehaved with us. People used to forcefully harass us. Would argue without any reason.
Troubled for parking the car for several weeks
He further said, 'I still remember when the people there troubled us a lot regarding the parking of my car. We had taken permission from our landlord. Despite this the society people were not giving us permission. I gave more documents for parking my car than I had to give to get my passport made.
Sometimes they say come on Sunday and sometimes on Monday. Sometimes he would call in the morning and sometimes in the evening. This sequence continued for several weeks. I was very irritated. However, she could not take any action because she was living in someone else's house. Then I realized that my home is my own.
Ashi came to Mumbai at the age of 15. His entire childhood was spent in Agra. By the way, he was fond of acting since childhood. However, there came a time when his confidence in acting had reduced considerably.
Also faced casting couch
Aashi said, 'I used to give auditions along with my studies. In the initial days, when I went for auditions, I had to face casting couch. I was asked for favors in exchange for work. Confidence regarding acting had reduced considerably. I did not give up. Never let anyone take advantage of you.
See, no one can force you. If someone had approached me, I would have immediately refused. I would have refused to be a part of any of his projects and would have left that place.
Started acting journey in 2015
Ashi started her acting journey in 2015 with 'Secret Diaries: The Hidden Chapter'. Ashi got a lot of recognition from the role of Naina Aggarwal in the show 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai'.
Apart from this, she has also worked in shows like 'Crime Patrol', 'Savdhaan India', 'Gumrah', 'Secret Diaries'. She has also appeared in the film 'Prisoner Band'. She was last seen in the serial 'Meet'.
