Team India ICC Rankings: Indian team 'King' in ICC rankings! Became number-1 in all three formats leader

After registering a 4-1 victory in the five-match Test series against England, Team India has become the number one team in the world in Test cricket. The Indian team is also ranked number one in the ODI and T20 international rankings. In such a situation, now Team India has managed to win the top position in all the three formats.

Team India has 4636 points and 122 rating in the latest ICC update. Australia, ranked second, has a rating of 117. England is third with 111 rating and New Zealand is fourth with 101 rating. Even if Australia win the second Test against New Zealand, they will not be able to regain the number one spot.

India defeated England at home. After losing the first Test, Rohit Sene went on to win the next four matches to take a 4-1 series lead. This win helped the Indian team in the ICC rankings. With this, Team India reached the first position in the ICC Test rankings. Indian team beat Australia. The Australian team has reached the second position. There is no change in the top-10 except for the first and second positions.

The Indian team is already ranked number one in the ICC ODI and T20I rankings. Team India has 121 rating points in the ODI list and 266 points in the T20I list. Thus, Team India has now become No.1 in all three formats in the ICC rankings.

Young players showed their strength

In the Test series against England, Indian youth players performed amazingly. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the highest 712 runs in this series. He scored two double centuries in this series. Apart from this, he also scored three fifties with the bat. He was awarded Player of the Series for his outstanding performance. Shubman Gill scored 452 runs in this series. Apart from this, Sarfraz Khan and Devdutt Padikal, who made their debut in the series, also performed well. On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav took 19 wickets in bowling.
