Leader Online Desk: Despite the positive global signals, the domestic stock market started cautiously today (11th). Sensex-Nifty opened slightly lower. The Sensex fell nearly 80 points to open above 76,400. Nifty opened around 23,245 down around 15 points and Bank Nifty opened above 49,800 with a fall of 200 points.
Around 1760 stocks rose while 563 stocks fell in early trade today. .117 shares were unchanged. On the Nifty, shares of ONGC, NTPC, Apollo Hospitals, Nestle and Coal India were among the major gainers. While Asian Paints, Shriram Finance, BPCL, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors declined.
