New Delhi, Leading News Service: A senior BJP leader at the central level is conducting a review to find out the reasons behind the defeat of Maharashtra candidates in the Lok Sabha elections. The leader, who has close ties with the party leadership and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, is said to have a major role in central politics.
Assembly elections will be held in the state after six months. For this, BJP has come into action mode. Sources informed that the review work is going on from this senior leader.
Even with Shiv Sena Shinde Group and Nationalist Ajit Pawar Group in the Grand Alliance, BJP faced defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. Devendra Fadnavis demanded the party leaders to take responsibility for this defeat and release him from the government. Against this backdrop, the BJP has started moving.
