Southwest Monsoon | The rapid progress of monsoon has entered the southern state









Leader Online Desk: Monsoon entered Kerala two days ahead of schedule on Thursday, May 30. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has informed that the monsoon is moving forward at a fast pace, and currently it has entered many states in the south.

Southwest Monsoon has advanced over some more parts of Central Arabian Sea, some parts of Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of Telangana and some parts of West Central and Northwest Bay of Bengal today, June 3, the Meteorological Department said.

Monsoon will arrive in Maharashtra on June 8

Monsoon will arrive in the state on June 7-8, two to three days later than scheduled. Before that, it will reach across the state between June 12 and 17. The average rainfall in the state will be 99 percent from June to September. This year, Konkan will receive the highest rainfall of 103 percent. There is a possibility of deluge in the month of August, said senior agricultural meteorologist Dr. Given by Ramchandra Sable.
