'He had the quality to adapt his voice'
During the film festival, Sonu Nigam said, 'Mohammed Rafi had the quality to adapt the voice of actors of every generation. 'When he sang bhajans, he looked like a staunch Hindu'

'They were volcanoes that erupted on the mic'
Sonu Nigam said, 'I know many singers who can sing Sufi songs very well but cannot sing bhajans. Mohammed Rafi used to sing from Ramzan to Raksha Bandhan. He used to sing happy songs, sad songs, even birthday songs. There is nothing that he has not done. He was a volcano, who erupted only on the mic.
