Leader Online Desk: A shocking incident has come to light in Bangalore, Karnataka. Ten anacondas have been seized by customs officials at the Kempegowda International Airport. A passenger who tried to smuggle Anaconda was arrested.
The traveler from Bangkok had hidden 10 yellow anacondas in his bag. The yellow anaconda is a species of river snake. Yellow anacondas are commonly found in Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, northeastern Argentina, and northern Uruguay. Wildlife trade and smuggling are illegal in India by law. The incident came to light when the officials intercepted the passenger and checked the bag. The passenger has been arrested and is under investigation. Bengaluru Customs Department has given information about this.
