Ajay Devgan and R. Madhavan's film Shaitan has made a worldwide collection of Rs 100 crore within a week. Apart from this, it has also earned Rs 74 crore in the domestic market. On Wednesday the film collected Rs 6.25 crore.
Now eyes on earning Rs 100 crore at domestic box office
If we look at Ajay Devgan's previous films, except Drishyam 2, no film has been able to make better collections. Gangubai Kathiawadi definitely collected more than Rs 100 crore, but it originally had Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
Ajay's last release film Bhola did a lifetime business of Rs 82 crore. Three of his films were released in 2022, out of which Runway-34 and Thank God flopped. Shaitan is getting mixed response from critics and audience. In such a situation, the film can make domestic box office collection up to Rs 100 crore.

Shaitan is a horror psycho thriller film. It is shown in the film that Kabir (Ajay Devgan) is living a happy life in his family with his wife Jyoti (Jyotika), daughter Janvi (Janaki Bodiwala) and son Dhruv (Angad Raj). But suddenly an earthquake comes in their life. One day they plan to go to their farmhouse for a holiday, on the way they meet Vanraj (R Madhavan) at a dhaba.
Vanraj dominates Kabir's family with the help of black magic. Vanraj forces Kabir's daughter to commit murderous acts. Now whether Kabir is able to save his family from the clutches of Vanraj or not, the film turns in this direction. Click here to read the full review..
