Popular TV show Anupama's actress Rupali Ganguly has been in controversies for the past several days. Some time back his step daughter Isha Verma had accused him of harassment. In response to the serious allegations made by Isha, Rupali Ganguly has filed a defamation suit of Rs 50 crore against her. Rupali has said in the notice that due to Isha's allegations she has had to take medical treatment, while many projects have been lost from her hands.
Rupali Ganguly's lawyer Sana Raees Khan recently told India Today, we have sent a defamation notice to her step daughter in response to her false and harmful statements. Rupali has taken this step for her safety. The daughter's baseless statements have damaged Rupali's image and taken advantage of her public reputation. These allegations have not only caused him emotional problems, but have also tarnished his personal and professional image.
Demand for Rs 50 crore compensation and public apology
In the notice sent to Isha Verma, it is written that she has used derogatory language for Rupali Ganguly, which has damaged her reputation and dignity. This has also adversely affected his career, due to which he has to suffer losses. Now Isha Verma should immediately apologize and give him a compensation of Rs 50 crore to compensate for the loss. If they do not do so, legal action will be taken against them.
Rupali was trying hard to get Isha a job in the entertainment industry.
In the legal notice sent to Isha Verma, it has also been mentioned that whenever she comes to India from New Jersey, Rupali Ganguly has treated her well. Rupali was also helping him in getting work in the film and TV industry. With the help of her links, Rupali had got many of his photoshoots and auditions done.

Some time ago, a social media post made by Isha Verma in the year 2020 came into limelight, in which she had written, 'This is very bad, doesn't anyone know the real story of Rupali Ganguly. His Ashwin K. Had a relationship with Verma for 12 years, when he was married. Ashwin Verma has 2 daughters from his previous marriage. She is a cruel woman who tried to separate me and my sister.
Isha further wrote, 'I am telling all this because she pretends everywhere that she is in a happy marriage. Although in reality she is controlling and psychotic towards my father. Whenever I call my father, she starts shouting and threatening to kill me and my mother. It is not right that she has ruined my father's life and pretends that she has done a love marriage. To be honest, she behaves in the same way as Rhea Chakraborty did with Sushant Singh Rajput. She gives strange medicines to my father and controls him.
