Actress Rimi Sen, who has been a part of great films like Kyun Ki, Hungama and Golmaal, has recently filed a case against a car company and demanded compensation of Rs 50 crore. The actress has said that someone could have died due to the negligence of the company. She complained several times, but the company continued to ignore her and then started behaving badly, due to which she had to face mental harassment.
According to a recent ETimes report, Rimi Sen has filed a case and sent a notice against Jaguar Land Rover, Navneet Motors and Satish Motor. Rimi Sen was facing a problem with the rear end camera of the car for a long time. Due to technical problems, her car collided with a pillar from the rear on 25 August 2022. When she complained about this to the company, it was ignored by the people of the company and she was treated badly.
The actress has told that she had sent her car to the service center about 10 times for repair, but her car was never repaired properly.
The actress demanded compensation of 50 crores
The actress has said in her complaint that she has suffered mental harassment due to the negligence of the car company, for which she demands compensation of Rs 50 crore. Apart from compensation, the actress has also demanded Rs 10 lakh for legal expenses.
In the complaint, the actress has said, I am very disappointed with the company and its service. They have a poor attitude towards customers. My car collided with a pillar, but there could have been a human being in place of that pillar. Due to the negligence of the company, someone could have lost his life or a serious accident could have happened. No compensation can compensate for someone's life at that time. In a conversation with ETimes, the actress has told that she is managing this case along with her lawyer.
