Amir Sarfaraz Tamba, a key figure involved in the murder of Sarabjit Singh in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat Jail in 2013, was shot dead by unknown assailants in Lahore, Pakistan on Sunday, April 14.
Ameer Sarfaraz Tamba was attacked by motorcycle-borne assailants in Islampur area and was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he died. Randeep Hooda wrote – 'Karma. Thank you Unknown Male Remembering my sister Dalbir Kaur and sending love to Swapandeep and Poonam. Today martyr Sarabjit Singh got some justice.
Sabarjeet was kept in Kot Lakhpat jail of Lahore for 23 years. Inside the jail, Amir Sarfaraz Tamba and the prisoners attacked Sarabjit with bricks and iron rods for a week, due to which Sarabjit died on 26 June 2013. It is said that Amir Sarfaraz Tamba had killed Sarabjit on the instructions of ISI.
