Ranbir was beaten by his father only once: Actor said – Papa was very religious, he got angry when he went to the temple wearing slippers.

Ranbir Kapoor has recalled the incident when he was beaten by his father Rishi Kapoor. Ranbir told that he once went to the temple of RK Studio wearing slippers. This time Rishi Kapoor became very angry and beat up Ranbir.

This was the first and last time when Ranbir was beaten by his father. Ranbir told that this happened because father Rishi Kapoor was a very religious person.

Ranbir was beaten only once by Rishi Kapoor

Ranbir said- I had to force myself only once. Diwali puja was held at RK Studio. Papa was very religious. I was probably eight or nine years old and went to the temple without taking off my slippers. Seeing this, father beat me. Ranbir told that this was the first and last time when he was beaten by Rishi Kapoor.

Ranbir also said jokingly that his mother Neetu also used to beat him. Many times he even used hangers.

41-year-old Ranbir lost his father Rishi Kapoor due to cancer in 2020. Some time ago, in an interview given to PTI, Ranbir had said that Rishi Kapoor leaving like this is a big loss for him. He had said – The most difficult moment in a person's life is when you lose one of your parents.

Talking about Ranbir's work front, he was last seen in the film Animal. His work in the film was greatly appreciated by the audience. The film was also a hit at the box office.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is in the news these days regarding Nitish Tiwari's Ramayana. There are reports that he will be seen in the role of Lord Ram in this film. Sai Pallavi has been chosen to play the role of Mother Sita, while KGF star Yash has reportedly been chosen to play the role of Ravana.
