The PF account will be automatically transferred to the new company
A comforting change for Employees Provident Fund (EPFO) account holders will come into force from today. Earlier, after changing jobs, one had to apply for transfer of one's PF account to a new company. Now this process will be done automatically.
Aadhaar linked mobile number is mandatory for NPS login
The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has changed the login mechanism of National Pension Scheme (NPS) account holders to protect them from cyber scams. Accordingly, it will now be mandatory for the account holders to add the mobile number linked to Aadhaar along with the user ID and password to login to the account.
SBI Debit Card Maintenance Fee Increase
State Bank of India has decided to increase the annual maintenance charges on all types of debit cards by Rs 75. It will be implemented from today. Apart from this, the reward points received by the bank's credit card holders on rent payment will also be stopped from today. These discounts are ending on SBI Card Pulse, SBI Card Elite Advotage, AURUM, SimpleClick Credit Cards.
This change from ICICI, Yes Bank
An ICICI Bank credit cardholder will now get complimentary airport lounge access if he spends over Rs 35,000 in a quarter. Yes Bank will also provide free domestic airport lounge access to credit card holders who spend at least Rs 10,000 in a quarter.
Changes in Ola's wallet rules
Ola Money has also changed its wallet rules. The limit for small 'PPI' (Prepaid Payment Instrument) wallet services will be increased to Rs 10,000.
Has FASTag KYC been updated?
NHAI had advised the vehicle owners to update their Fasting KYC before April 1. Those who have not done this process, their accounts will be deactivated and it will not be possible to pay the toll through Fasteng despite having money in the account.
