Railway employees strike warning for old pension


New Delhi, Leading News Service: Railways and government employees in the country will go on an indefinite strike after the next two months to protest against the non-implementation of the benefits and benefits announced by the central government under the National Pension Scheme. The decision was taken at the meeting of All India Railway Men's Federation held at Tal Katora Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday.

The Central Government has formed a joint committee to eliminate the loopholes in the National Pension Scheme (NPS) and implement the old pension scheme. We will wait for the next two months for the report of this committee. After that all the employees will go on an indefinite strike for old pension, it was warned in the Railway Men's Federation convention.

Earlier, railway employees had decided to go on strike on May 1. The decision to go on strike was announced after the report of the joint committee came out, withdrawing that decision. 8 proposals were extensively discussed in this session. 1500 delegates from all over the country and around 3000 members attended the convention. All officers of AIRF, Regional Secretaries, Strategic Planners and Officers of ITF Inland Transport Railway Section were present.
