Lok Sabha Elections: Voting for 93 seats begins in the third phase


Leaders Online Desk: Voting for 93 seats in 10 states and one union territory has started today (7th) in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. In Surat in this phase, the Congress candidate's application was canceled and later 8 candidates withdrew their applications, BJP's Mukesh Dalal was elected unopposed.
Election to Anantnag-Rajouri constituency has been postponed due to inclement weather in Jammu and Kashmir. Polling will be held in this constituency in the sixth phase on May 25. Due to the death of the Bahujan Samaj Party candidate from the Baitul (Madhya Pradesh) constituency in the second phase, the polling is being held in the third phase today. The reputation of 7 Union Ministers and 5 former Chief Ministers is at stake.

The fate of 258 candidates is in the hands of 2 crore voters
For the third phase in the state, voting is going on today on May 7 in 11 Lok Sabha constituencies like Kolhapur, Hatkanangle, Raigad, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Sangli, Satara etc. A total of 2 crore 9 lakh 92 thousand 616 voters will exercise their right to vote in these 11 constituencies, and the fate of 258 candidates is in their hands.
