In an interview, Nora told that when she got the offer of Dilbar and Kamariya, she was thinking of leaving India. But then he felt it was time to prove himself.

Speaking at the Indian Festival in Melbourne, Nora said, 'I had to do these songs on my own terms. When I met the producers, I didn't get any money. I did it for free, because I thought this was not the time to make money, but to prove myself and make a name for myself. Also, it is time to work with good people.

Both these opportunities were very big for me, so I also did not pay much attention to earning money at that time. However, I needed money at that time. According to Nora, she wanted to do something new in both the songs. She said, 'When I met the producers of the film, I said we can make it an item number. But something has to be done in these songs so that people can watch this song with their family also, that is why I gave more importance to choreography rather than hot scenes in these songs. Not only this, Dilbar's dancers were trained for a week, so that they could follow his steps.

Nora said, 'The clothes I got for the song Dilbar. I refused to wear them because they were too small. I understand, this is a sexy song. But we should not make it vulgar. After this, a new dress was fitted for me, in which I was quite comfortable.
