At the behest of Naushad K. Asif was adamant that the song would be recorded in his own voice. Of. To dissuade Asif, Bade Ghulam Ali Saheb casually said that he will take 25 thousand rupees for one song.

In that period, singers like Lata Mangeshkar and Rafi Sahab used to get only Rs 300 to 400 for a song. Of. Asif agreed to pay Rs 25 thousand. Made Lata Mangeshkar sing a song in the bathroom for experiment

Naushad Sahab loved experimenting in music. While he used classical ragas in 'Baiju Bawra', he also experimented with the song 'Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya' from 'Mughal-e-Azam'. Actually, this song needed echo.

At that time there was no such technology and such instruments which could bring resonance in the voice. For this, Naushad Sahab made Lata Mangeshkar sing this song in the bathroom. This song created a lot of buzz and even today this song is imprinted on the hearts and minds of the people.

Sanskrit pundits were called from Banaras to correct Mohammed Rafi's pronunciation.

Naushad Saheb was recording the song 'Man Tadpat Hari Darshan Ko' from the film 'Baiju Bawra' in the voice of Mohammad Rafi, but Mohammad Rafi was not able to pronounce some Sanskrit words in the song properly. A mistake was made during the shooting of Mother India's song.

A huge mistake was made during the shooting of the song 'Dukh Bhare Din Beete Re Bhaiya' from the film 'Mother India'. This song was recorded by Naushad Sahab in the voices of Manna Dey, Mohammed Rafi, Shamshad Begum and Asha Bhosle. This song was filmed on Nargis and Rajkumar in the film.

After the shooting of the song, when Mehboob Khan showed the Rush footage to Naushad, he held his head. Actually, in the shot, the voices of two different singers were heard on one character. Rajkumar is in the frame, but in one half of the line of the song, Manna Dey's voice was there and in the other half, Mohammed Rafi's voice was there.

Similarly, when Nargis came into the frame, Shamshad Begum's voice was in half the row and Asha Bhosle's voice was in the other half row. Generally, only one singer's voice is used for one character. When Naushad Sahab drew Mehboob Khan's attention to this, he got upset. He said that a lot of money and time has been spent, he cannot shoot again. Then Naushad Saheb said that there is so much emotion in this song that no one will pay attention to this mistake and that is what happened.
