Actress Alia Fakhri, who was seen in great films like Rockstar, Madras Cafe, Housefull 3 and sister of American fashion model Nargis Fakhri, has been accused of double murder. Alia has been arrested from New York for burning her ex-boyfriend and his friend to death. Meanwhile, there are reports that Nargis was not in contact with Alia for the last 20 years.
If reports are to be believed, murder accused Alia and Nargis Fakhri were not in touch for the last 20 years. No official statement has come out from Nargis' side in this matter till now, whereas her mother Mary has given a statement in defense of daughter Alia. He has said that his daughter cared for everyone and could not kill anyone.
Nargis has been associated with Hindi cinema for many years and on rare occasions she goes to Queens, New York, from where her sister has been arrested. Let us tell you that Nargis Fakhri was born in Queens. His father Mohammad Fakhri was Pakistani, while his mother Marie was Czech. Nargis is elder than Alia. Both of them were young when their parents got divorced. His father passed away just a few years after the divorce.

A few hours after the news of Alia's arrest came out, Nargis Fakhri shared a post from her official Instagram account, in which she is seen having fun on the sets of her upcoming film Housefull 5.
What is the whole matter?
On November 26, Nargis's sister Alia was arrested from Queens, New York. She is accused of killing her ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs, 35, and her friend Anastasia Starr Etienne, 33, by setting fire to a two-story garage.
According to eyewitnesses, Edward and Anastasia were sleeping in the garage when Alia came outside the garage and started creating ruckus. She was standing outside the garage shouting 'You will all be burnt alive', shortly after which a fire broke out in the garage, resulting in the death of both of them.
It has come to light that Alia had an affair with Edward Jacobs a year ago. Edward was a plumber by profession and was married with three children. Edward was living in that garage and working on converting it into an apartment.
Edward's mother has told in an interview given by New York Post that Edward had left Alia a year ago and she was not able to move on after facing this rejection.
During the police investigation, people living with Edward said that their relationship was quite abusive. There were many fights between the two.
Alia Fakhri has been charged with 4 sections each of first degree and third degree murder. If the allegations are proved then Alia may get life imprisonment. Alia will be presented in the court on December 9 for the next hearing of this case.
