Popular TV show Uttaran fame actor Nandish Sandhu recently talked about his divorce from Rashmi Desai. He said that after the divorce, everyone was pointing fingers at him, which made him upset. This had a bad effect on his professional career as well.

Recently, in an interview given to Siddharth Kannan, Nandish has told the reason for divorce. He has said, 'Many times we make a mountain out of a molehill. We feel that something very big is happening. I think it has been a great decision from both of us because we decided to separate together. Nothing was going well between us due to our thoughts. Our way of thinking, our vision and our behavior were not the same, so we hurried to separate. We were very young then and not very sensible. At that time my show Uttaran was a huge hit, I was getting fame. Everything was in my favor. The whole world was around me. My show was going well, I was getting a good salary. There was a woman in my life. I was in love.'

Rashmi Desai married Nandish in the year 2012.

The actor further said, 'The compatibility issue was understood when we both started living together after marriage. Then we realized that we are not compatible at all. When we got divorced, I felt that everyone was pointing fingers at me. Everyone looked at me as if I was an accused. Many things were said about me in the media, like I am a physically abusive person and have relationships with many girls. That one year was very difficult for me. I started getting very upset because of this. All this also had a bad effect on my career.'

Nandish said on his current relationship with Rashmi Desai, 'We are no longer friends. I was deeply hurt by the things she said about me in several interviews. I feel that if I am handling this issue with dignity, then there is no need to talk about it. I never said anything bad about it.'
