Leaders Online Desk: The Madras High Court has granted relief to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's sons Udayanidhi Stalin and A Raja over their statements on Sanatan Dharma. The High Court (Madras High Court) has dismissed the petition filed against the DMK leaders. A petition was filed seeking the removal of Udayanidhi Stalin, PK Shekhar Babu MLA and DMK MP A Raja as MPs regarding Sanatan Dharma.

The DMK leaders had filed a writ petition in the Madras High Court against this petition. Advocate P Wilson said Hindu Munnani's team had filed a quo warranto petition against the DMK leaders, which was dismissed by the High Court.

In September last year, DMK leader and Tamil Nadu government minister Udhayanidhi Stalin compared Sanatan Dharma to dengue and malaria and called for an end to Sanatan Dharma. There was a big uproar in the country due to Udayanidhi Stalin's statement. Several FIRs were filed against the DMK leader. An organization called Hindu Munnani had filed a petition demanding the removal of DMK leaders from their posts over the controversial statement.
