Leaders Online Desk: In the third phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, voting is going on today (7th) in 93 constituencies in 11 states. Meanwhile, shocking news is coming out from Bihar. An election officer at the polling station has died of a heart attack. The incident took place at a polling station in Supaul and the officer's name is Shailendra Kumar.

Shailendra started feeling uneasy this morning when the polling started. He was admitted to the nearest primary health center. But the doctor said that he died before treatment. The body has been sent for postmortem. Their relatives have been informed.
In the third phase, a total of 1331 candidates are in the fray. The polling time is from 7 am to 6 pm. Polling in some Lok Sabha seats will end at 4 pm. In the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is taking place in 10 seats from Uttar Pradesh, 25 from Gujarat, 14 from Karnataka, 11 from Maharashtra, 9 from Madhya Pradesh, 4 from Assam, 5 from Bihar, 7 from Chhattisgarh, 4 from West Bengal, 2 seats from Daman Diu and Dadra-Nagar Haveli.
