This year, the Lok Sabha polls are being held in seven phases across the country. Out of seven phases, voting has been held in four phases namely 19th April, 26th April, 7th May and 13th May. The voting will be held for the fifth phase on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25 and the seventh phase on June 1. The results of the Lok Sabha elections in all the states of the country will be announced on June 4.

Polling for the Delhi Parliamentary Constituency is taking place in the sixth phase i.e. on May 25. Meanwhile, former Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and former Union Minister Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi exercised his right to vote by voting at home from New Delhi Parliamentary Constituency. This was said by the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi.
