New Delhi; Leading News Service: The Congress executive on Tuesday approved the Congress manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections, which includes five justice and 25 guarantee schemes. Rahul Gandhi claimed that this manifesto is a resolution to lead the people to prosperity, and the Congress party will fight the elections on the issues of the people by taking five justice resolutions, going to the farmers, youth, laborers, women and the underprivileged; Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge attacked that it will be like BJP's India Shining slogan of 2004.
The party executive meeting was held at the Congress headquarters in Delhi. The party's election manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections was discussed. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi along with executive members were also present. After this meeting, Media General Secretary Jairam Ramesh and Organization General Secretary K. C. Venugopal informed about the manifesto in a press conference. Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress party is not only a manifesto for elections, but also a legal document that guarantees a bright future. For the past 63 days, Rahul Gandhi has been talking about five justices and 25 guarantees on the occasion of Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. Jairam Ramesh mentioned that he is included in this. In the meeting, party president Kharge said that the winds of change are blowing in the country, mocking that the present government is boasting of promises like India Shining Declaration of 2004. He said that the Vajpayee government was defeated in the 2004 elections and the same will happen now. Rahul Gandhi also clarified through a tweet that the manifesto was discussed in the executive meeting. He has said that this manifesto and the guarantee promises in it are not just documents, but a framework created through dialogue with crores of countrymen.
