KL Rahul: K. L. What exactly happened to Rahul? Question marks over playing in IPL, T20 World Cup | leader

Bangalore, Paddari Online : In the second Test against England, Lokesh Rahul (KL Rahul) had to withdraw with an injury before the match and then he had to miss the rest of the series. Lokesh Rahul was selected in the team in the third Test. But the final 11 with 90 per cent fitness was not given a chance. He then joined the National Cricket Academy (NCA). There was a possibility that he would make a comeback in the fourth or fifth Test. But, the squad for the fifth test was announced. Lokesh's name was omitted from it. After that, the question has been raised whether he will play in IPL 2024 and T20 World Cup 2024.

Lokesh (KL Rahul) went to London as the BCCI medical team could not find the cause of his injury. He underwent surgery there and is now back in India. He will now undergo further treatment at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He consulted top medical experts in London. He returned to India on Sunday and checked into the BCCI's National Cricket Academy in Bangalore for rehabilitation.

He should get return to play certificate from NCA soon. He is keen to prove his worth in the IPL and is in the running for selection as a wicket-keeper batsman in India's Twenty20 World Cup squad, a source told Times of India. (KL Rahul)
