Actress-MP Kangana Ranaut says that a few years ago during the MeToo movement in the Hindi film industry, she had to fight for women alone. In fact, none of the women for whom she had raised her voice supported her. Rather, people said that Kangana always creates problems.

In an interview to The Lallantop, Kangana said, 'I had spoken out in favour of women. But then their silence was bought with money. I kept looking for those women, but they disappeared. Some of them signed films with the same people who did wrong.

I am very disappointed with these women. I was left alone and became a problem creator for people.'

Kangana has given this statement on the Hema Committee report. She said that this report was submitted at a time when there was uproar over the MeToo movement in Bollywood. But the government kept it hidden for a long time. During this time, many actors, directors, producers were accused of sexual exploitation.

Kangana said- people were preparing to send me to jail
Kangana claimed that after this action the industry turned against her. She said, 'I was trying to create some pressure, but everyone's voice was silenced. If this report had been released then all the industries would have united.

I was left alone in this. People even filed cases to send me to jail.'

After the Hema Committee report came out, many actresses made serious allegations against actors
There have been allegations of sexual abuse against female actors in the Malayalam film industry for the past several years. To investigate this, a 3-member committee was formed in 2019 under the chairmanship of retired Justice Hema.

After 4 years, on August 19, Hema Committee submitted a 233-page report to the Kerala government, in which exploitation by many big artists came to light.

Since the Justice Hema Committee report came out, actresses in the Malayalam film industry have been continuously making allegations against many big actors and filmmakers.

Release of Kangana's upcoming film Emergency banned
Kangana is in the news these days because of the film Emergency. Kangana recently told that the release of her upcoming film Emergency has been banned. CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) had cleared the film, but later the certification has been banned.

This has happened because there are too many death threats. The censor board is also getting threats. There is pressure on us not to show Indira Gandhi's assassination, not to show Bhindranwale, not to show the Punjab riots. I don't know what else to show.

Kangana had said in Bhaskar interview- rape and murders happened in farmers' protest
