Why Nicol vice-captain instead of Pandya?

After this decision of the franchise, many people on social media have asked why Krunal Pandya was removed as vice-captain. As Pandya did not perform well as a captain and as an all-rounder last season, there has been talk of dropping him. Although the team reached the playoffs under his leadership, he could not go much further. However, many people on social media have taken Krunal Pandya's side and opined that he handled the LSG team better in Rahul's absence.
