India should respect Pakistan; Controversial statement of Congress leader Mani Shankar Iyer

New Delhi, Leading News Service: While campaigning for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections is in full swing, the Congress party has once again found itself in the midst of controversy due to the controversial statement made by senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Iyer on the issue of Pakistan having nuclear bombs. Even though the Congress has clarified that the party has nothing to do with Mani Shankar's statement, the BJP, however, has started preparations to encircle the Congress.

Controversial Legislative Council's Mani Shankar Aiyar has said that since Pakistan has atomic bombs, India should respect them while negotiating. Mani Shankar Iyer made this statement while discussing with 'Chill Pill' on the topic related to his book 'Memoirs of a Maverick' and 'The Rajiv Eye New'. However, this video is said to be old. The use of military force against Pakistan has increased the tension between the two countries. If this tension continues to escalate, there is a fear that a deranged government in Pakistan will drop a nuclear bomb on India. Therefore, Mani Shankar Iyer has also advised in this discussion that India should maintain the honor of Pakistan and hold peaceful talks with them. If Pakistan drops a nuclear bomb from Lahore, radiation will affect Amritsar in just 8 seconds. Iyer said that if India wants to become a global leader, it is necessary to improve relations with Pakistan and negotiate with them.

Earlier, the Congress, which was in trouble due to Sam Pitroda's statement, removed Pitroda from the post of Overseas Congress president and put a curtain on this controversy. However, now the Congress party has again found itself in the midst of controversy due to Mani Shankar Iyer's statement. Congress leader Pawan Kheda has clarified that Congress has nothing to do with Mani Shankar Aiyar's statement and has not given him any authority to present the party's position. Congress has always taken a strong stand against Pakistan. Kheda reminded that in December 1971, Indira Gandhi took a decisive role in creating independent Bangladesh.

BJP has strongly attacked the Congress on Mani Shankar Iyer's statement. Rahul Gandhi's Congress ideology has been reflected in this election, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has reacted in a post on X on social media. Supporting Pakistan to leave Siachen, dividing the people, guaranteeing false and misleading promises to the poor is the policy of the Congress. Chandrashekhar has said that Congress has become a party that apologizes to Pakistan and its terrorists. Union Minister and BJP leader Anurag Thakur has criticized that Congress leaders live in India, but their hearts are in Pakistan. He said that India knows well how to teach Pakistan a lesson.
