One-day national mourning in India on death of Iranian President
New Delhi, Leading News Service: Iran President Ebrahim Raisi: A one-day national mourning will be observed in India on May 21 for the accidental death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. A notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the national flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the country on the day and no official entertainment programs will be held.
Iran's President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Abdullahiyan died in a helicopter crash. Expressing his condolences, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India stands by Iran in this time of sorrow. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has also expressed his condolences.
