Imad Wasim withdraws from retirement and will play again for Pakistan leader









Karachi, News Agency : The Pakistan Cricket Board is always in the limelight due to dramatic developments. Now once again PCB is at the center of discussion and neighbors have started taking steps in view of World Cup. Imad Wasim, who retired from international cricket in November 2023, will once again be seen playing for Pakistan's international team. After his brilliant performance in the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League, Wasim gained weight in the team. Shaheen Shah Afridi has been appointed as the captain of the T20 team by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The Pakistan team has suffered many times as there is no reliable player in the middle order. So there is a high possibility of Imad Wasim getting a place in the team. There is talk of enmity between former captain Babar Azam and Imad. However, in view of the World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board has started planning a strategy and after discussing with Imad Wasim, the board asked him to withdraw his resignation.

Wasim said, “I am happy to announce that I have reconsidered my decision to retire after a meeting with the Pakistan Cricket Board officials. I will be available for Pakistan for T20 matches till ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
